Po-Ms

Homework by Allen Ginsberg
Homage Kenneth Koch

If I were doing my Laundry I'd wash my dirty Iran
I'd throw in my United States, and pour on the Ivory Soap,
scrub up Africa, put all the birds and elephants back in
the jungle,
I'd wash the Amazon river and clean the oily Carib & Gulf of Mexico,
Rub that smog off the North Pole, wipe up all the pipelines in Alaska,
Rub a dub dub for Rocky Flats and Los Alamos, Flush that sparkly
Cesium out of Love Canal
Rinse down the Acid Rain over the Parthenon & Sphinx, Drain the Sludge
out of the Mediterranean basin & make it azure again,
Put some blueing back into the sky over the Rhine, bleach the little
Clouds so snow return white as snow,
Cleanse the Hudson Thames & Neckar, Drain the Suds out of Lake Erie
Then I'd throw big Asia in one giant Load & wash out the blood &
Agent Orange,
Dump the whole mess of Russia and China in the wringer, squeeze out
the tattletail Gray of U.S. Central American police state,
& put the planet in the drier & let it sit 20 minutes or an
Aeon till it came out clean

Plus read Jim Carroll's poems coz he's sexcellent

Little Ode On St. Anne's Day by Jim Carroll

You're growing up
and rain sort of remains
on the branches of a tree
that will someday rule the earth.

and that's good
that there's rain
it clears the month
of your sorry rainbow expressions

and clears the streets
of the silent armies...

so we can dance

Seltzer by Jim Carroll

1.
Here is my room, smiling like a forest
of navels yet, in secret,
so sad and filthy.

2.
breathe deep enough and we are possessed.
breathe again and we will be gone.

3.
the best thing about today
is the idea of tomorrow
we will go on a picnic.

4.
who can argue with 6000 swallows
flying from a single cloud,
like joy.

5.
when we die we might see the Virgin Mary
sitting before the father, the son, and the Holy Ghost

right now I'll settle for you
with your bra unhooked (under a tree)
on the Staten Island ferry.

WOW

i like the way that the dates of the year make a beautiful wave shape!!

see for yourself, look on the right side of my page underneath Archives at all the dates and how they wave, it's so cool, never really noticed/thought about it, but yeah ok that just makes me happy.
like years just flow on
or something.

ive been feeling nostalgic lately, and listened to B*Witched! if you remember them?! they sung c'est la vie and blame it on the weatherman. c'est la vie is such a fun/silly/gay(asinhappy)/awesome song.
then it reminded me of natalie imbruglia, as i liked her at roughly the same time period, so i listened to some of her, and her songs are so beautiful, i like like like. they remind me of old times, and my heart aches a little. it's amazing how little things can trigger memories of how you once felt in the past, and its like you're reliving a feeling simply through one sound or one smell or something, if you get me..yerh...
and now i feel like listening to all saints, coz they are kind of similar/also liked them at a similar time. so yeah. gosh i love the 90s, its starting to fade more into the past now, joining the ranks of all those other years typified by dress/music/fads in my mind such as 60s 70s and 80s.

Thai wife at large with hubby's severed penis
Saturday Sep 1 17:15 AEST

A 35-year-old Thai woman was at large with her husband's penis Saturday after discovering the man's unfaithfulness, police said.

Pornbun Sinthusin came home late Friday in Bangkok and found her 34-year-old husband Ploeng Plaekratoke in bed with another woman, said Lieutenant Colonel Kornwat Hunpradit.

Pornbun later gave him several beers before cutting off his penis with "a sharp object," Kornwat said, adding that the husband was in intensive care.

"We suspect she took both her weapon and her husband's penis because we cannot find the penis in their apartment. We even checked a toilet but she did not dump it there," Kornwat said.
